Alpine: a naturally essenced peach lager and our original brew. In the Alps, there was a bar where we discovered the delicious tradition of demi-pêche, which inspired this peach of a beer. ALDI has a tantalising range of tasty beers, ales and wines that are all perfect for a summer's day, and this Suffolk Blonde ale is far from the exception. A far more subtle ale than your standard, hoppy IPA, Suffolk Blonde has characters of caramel and grain, with a slight dryness in the finish. While it doesn't deliver the fresh, bitter zing of Citra or BrewDog's Elvis Juice, its milder taste and smoky aroma is equally refreshing. This crisp and refreshing lager is a fresh take on the classic Italian Bellini, inspired by the iconic combination of bubbly prosecco and sweet peaches. Because why should fizzy wine have all the fun? Alongside the core range, Camden Town Brewery releases small batch innovation beers under its ‘Arch 55’ series. This range allows Camden’s brewing team to try out new ideas, ingredients, techniques, and recipes which are available on the Camden webshop in limited-edition batches. On a ski trip to the French Alps, we made two discoveries at La Folie Douce, a raucous après-ski bar. The first was a song used to close out the afternoon of après antics. The song was called Jubel, and the name translates to “a feeling of extreme joy”. The second discovery was a beer tradition called demi-pêche; a pint of lager with a peach top. Following on from the success of Camden’s previous summer seasonals, Pina Lager in 2021 and Ice Cream Lager in 2022, Bellini is stepping up to the plate as the next limited-edition launch to take centre stage. We’re currently installing solar panels, which will contribute 40% of our electrical needs to run the brewery. That’s 435,000 KWH of renewable energy!
