About this deal

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Wubbox: At its initial release, Wubbox liked the Spurrit Statue and Oaktopus. This was changed during its Cold Island release. Rare Wubbox originally was only available on Plant and Gold Islands, but has since been made available on 8 Islands. Just as any monster placed in the Wubbox is removed from their island permanently (and on Gold Island) - Gold Island monsters placed in the Wubbox are also removed from Gold Island (and their home islands). In a startling turn of events that none in the Monster World could have predicted, more of the mysterious Wubbox have been discovered deep in the subterranean recesses of Ethereal Island. This discovery, which flies in the face of the Monster's previous designation as Supernatural, has sparked intense debate among Monster classifiers, with some proposing a new theoretical 'Superethereal' class be created.

What many have suspected for a while has finally been confirmed - the Wubbox is indeed the creator of the Wublins! This Monster admitted to being inspired to create life based on remembrances of an otherworldly visitor that seemed to come from the heavens above. Yearning to create a Supernatural family of its very own, it tapped into its instrinsic elemental Electricity to harness the power to Zap Monster eggs. Content with the diversity and number of Wublins it had created, the Wubbox has settled in to become a permanent resident of Wublin Island and has invited its brethren to share in the experience of being Boxed, just like Natural and Ethereal Monsters before them! On Fire Haven, it says “Error! E-E-E-Error! B-B-Buffer overflow! B-B-B-B- Error! E-E-E-Error! B-B-Buffer overflow.” (Unknown voice, which could likely have been sampled from Air Island's part. Probably Sarah Parsons) During Big Blue Bubble's 2019 Extra Life stream, it was confirmed that Wubbox are, on average, 4 meters, or 13.1 feet tall, making them the tallest Monsters in the game. When first placed on an island, the Wubbox takes the form of a box that makes no sound and earns no currency. It must be activated by "boxing" all of the required Monsters into the Wubbox. It requires all common Monsters of the breeding class of the island. This does not change on Islands that function differently, for example Wubbox can not be teleported to Ethereal Island like Ethereals can, and on Wublin Island, Wubbox does not have a time limit or need zapped eggs. Just like Wubbox, Rare Wubbox can use Diamonds instead of boxing Monsters. Diamonds can be used while having no Monsters boxed, or while already having some. Each Monster boxed reduces the price. Each Monster equals the same amount of diamonds, despite some being harder to obtain. For example, the full price to box 15 Monster on Plant Island is 570 , and the price to box only 7 Monsters is 266 . Due to Rare Wubbox's high Diamond cost, it's recommended to use this method sparingly. Before the additions of the Magical Islands, Wubbox appeared on the most Islands out of any Monster in the game. Once the player hatches a Wubbox, they immediately receive a goal for placing Monsters inside of it. This means that Wubbox could technically be classified as cyborgs due to having organic parts, but it was still made by a monster as a robot instead of gaining robotic parts. Instead of boxing Monsters, you can use Diamonds. Diamonds can be used while having no Monsters boxed, or while already having some. Each Monster boxed reduces the price. Each Monster equals the same amount of diamonds, despite some being harder to obtain. For example, the full price to box 15 Monster on Plant Island is 450 , and the price to box only 7 Monsters is 210 . Due to Wubbox's high Diamond cost, it's recommended to use this method sparingly. Before version 3.9.3, on Water Island and Earth Island, the disc on Rare Wubbox's chest didn't move when it sang its song. On Ethereal Island, the disc moves periodically.

The sell price of the Wubbox increases with each additional Monster boxed, although not exactly by an amount equal to the sell price of the boxed monster.Prior to Version 3.3.1, it would not move its eyes or mouth in its idle animation, only resulted in a smile throughout its idle animation. It now moves its mouth like the Common and Epic Wubboxes. The Wubbox goes on sale multiple times per year, with sales typically being 50% off, and as high as 75% off (usually during Cyber Week), which can be well worth waiting for. After a Monster has been boxed, for all intents and purposes, it is gone and cannot be retrieved from the Wubbox. It will no longer earn currency and won't count towards the happiness of other monsters, even with the help of a Unity Tree. It will also be removed from Gold Island if it was placed there, and any costumes it had will be lost.

Rares can also be obtained with Starpower ( ) through the StarShop or be sped up after breeding. Sometimes during Seasonal Events, multiple Monsters will be available in the StarShop, making powering up a Rare Wubbox significantly faster. On Gold Island, the tune is shorter and becomes more harmonious with those of the other monsters. On Ethereal Island, Wubbox plays only once in the whole song. In Big Blue Bubble's 2018 Extra Life stream, Monster-Handler Matt said that Wubbox was made after the era of Dawn of Fire, and therefore, it would be impossible for both Wubbox and the Wublins to be in it. Wink (Wublin Island) (quiet audio): https://mysingingmonsters.fandom.com/wiki/File:Wubbox_Gold_Wink.mp3Wubbox's song on Fire Haven was composed by Dave Kerr at the same time as the rest of the Fire Haven song in 2018. The Monster-Handlers waited on releasing it until they had figured out the lore behind Wubbox being on the Island. [3] Considering Rare Wublins were added on April 5th, 2023, after all Rare Wublins have been released, Rare Wubbox may come to Wublin Island in the future. Wub/bass (Memory Game; Gold Island): https://mysingingmonsters.fandom.com/wiki/File:Wubbox_Memory_Sample.mp3 On all islands, Rare Wubbox sells for the total of the Monsters within; since Rare Drumpler's price is less than the other Rares, Cold and Water Island Rare Wubbox sell for 25,750 Coins more. Version History [ ] The description of the inactive Wubbox used to mention the old Mine: "Just as the monsters were phasing out production of the old mines, they stumbled upon [...]"
